Kortright Centre Wedding | Woodbridge, ON | Jennifer & Zachary

Fast forward a couple of months after photographing Jenny and Zach’s engagement session and now arrives their wedding day! A day that had the chance of rainfall certainly did not disappoint, as the day was filled with sunshine (we’ll get to the rainy part later) and all the emotions in the atmosphere. Kortright Centre in Woodbridge, ON, was the setting for the day and the couple could not have chosen a more perfect venue to host their wedding!

Kortright Centre was the perfect spot for Jenny and Zach’s wedding. After learning about their love for the outdoors during our time at Rattlesnake Point in Milton, ON for their engagement session, this venue had all the bells and whistles of the outdoors, including a beautiful forest with what seemed like a never-ending pathway from one end of the forest to the other, voluminous trees surrounding their wedding ceremony, to a charming rustic gazebo for their reception.

As the guests were arriving, they were greeted by the newlyweds’ dog, Ollie! In fact, Jenny and Zach decided to have Ollie take part in the wedding ceremony as the ring bearer. During our initial conversations in the months leading to their wedding, they had mentioned that they wanted to have Ollie incorporated in the wedding somehow and it was so awesome to see him help his parents make their wedding ceremony a success! The ceremony was filled with love-struck eyes locked with one another, laughter amongst the tears, and two families coming together as one.

The perfect sunny day eventually turned into some pretty intense rainfall during cocktail hour, as the DJ and guests quickly took cover! The show eventually went on and the night went ahead with heartfelt speeches from family and friends and ended with dancing and singing full of energy!

It was a true pleasure photographing Jenny and Zach’s wedding, as Zach and I go way back to our high school days. Their love for each other is truly special and evident through their connection captured in the photographs. These are the moments, the real moments, that really matter.
